What are Gelly Tips?
Gelly Tips are a full coverage nail enhancement system that can be worn in a variety of lengths and shapes. The enhancement is made of soft gel that is lightweight and flexible, yet strong and secure. They are easy to soak off with acetone, fully cover your natural nail bed, and can go up to 3 weeks before requiring maintenance. (2-3 weeks is recommended for maintenance, 4 weeks maximum depending on length).
How do I maintain Gelly Tips?
Gelly Tips are easily maintained. You can get them removed and have a fresh set reapplied every 2-4 weeks, or you can opt to get them filled in between new sets. A fill is done every 2-3 weeks with structured gel to cover the new growth of your natural nail. With Gelly Tips, you can get up to two fills before needing to soak them off and reapply a new set.
What is Structured Gel?
A structured gel manicure is a technique that focuses on restructuring the look and shape of your natural nails. The gel used for this service is workable and flexible, but strong enough to protect your nails from breakage. This manicure won’t add length to your nails, but can be done to reinforce whatever length your natural nails already are.

How does hand painted nail art work?
It’s pretty simple! Just show up to your appointment ready with any inspo photos you have. If you’re ever really stumped for inspo, I always have a ton to show you! If you’re ever unsure of something, you’re more than welcome to send me a picture beforehand so we can discuss how long & how much your appointment will be.
How does nail art pricing work?
The minimum rate for any hand painted nail art is a charge of $15. Depending on the design, products used, and how long it may take, it could cost more. If you have questions on how much a design/set might be, just send me your inspo and I will give you a quote!
Can I get my nails done here if I have someone else’s previous work on my nails?
The short answer is; yes. If you are booking with me and have pre-existing work on your nails, just reach out and let me know what exactly you have on (i.e. acrylic, dip, gel etc). I’ll make sure we book you for a soak off before the service we plan to do.

In the event that you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment, I ask that you let me know within 48 hours prior to the time and day of your appointment. Failure to get in touch within that timeframe will result in the credit card you put on file being charged 50% of what your services would have cost. No-showing your appointment two times will result in an automatic ban from booking with Kimberly Nailed It LLC in the future. This policy is in place to protect my time and revenue as a small business owner and a technician.

If you are actively sick with symptoms of Covid, the Flu, RSV, or any other illness I ask that you reschedule your appointment for a later date. If you are getting over an illness but still have mild symptoms, I ask that you please wear a mask to your appointment. Failure to do so may result in refusal of service from Kimberly Nailed It LLC. If you are unsure whether you should come to your appointment or not due to illness, please reach out prior to your appointment and we will discuss it!

I ask that you don’t bring guests to your appointment, regardless of whom (including children). Your appointment is yours and I want to be able to give you my full attention so I can give you the pampering you deserve! I will not offer services to any person younger than 14 years of age. Any person younger than 18 years of age will need a parent or guardian to sign for them prior to receiving a service. A nail salon is a business containing sharp implements, expensive electronics, and chemicals that are not suitable for children to be around.

We live in NEPA, where the winters are sometimes brutal and we never quite know what to expect. With that in mind, if any storm is bad enough to make travel questionable, Kimberly Nailed It LLC will close due to inclement weather. I don’t want any of my clients or myself risking our lives, I would so much rather have us be safe than sorry. In the event that I do close down the shop, I will reach out and try to let you know with ample time so we can reschedule your appointment. You will not be charged for canceling/rescheduling your appointment due to weather.
